A Generation X Journey: Daily Life Lessons, Stories, and Reflections
Well, here goes...
I've decided to start something new.
My name is Cameron, and beginning today, I'm going to start sharing a little bit of life every day right here on Facebook.
Nothing fancy.
No pretending to have all the answers.
Just thoughts, stories, lessons I've learned, things that make me laugh, and maybe an occasional observation about life from a Generation X guy who's trying to make the most of the years ahead.
By day, I'm an elementary school head custodian.
Outside of work, I'm just an ordinary guy who enjoys family, friends, good conversations, and continuing to learn new things.
One thing I've learned over the years is that life moves pretty fast.
And sometimes we get so busy trying to get somewhere that we forget to appreciate where we are.
So this little daily project is partly for me.
A journal of sorts.
A way to slow down, reflect, and maybe share something that encourages somebody else along the way.
Some days will be funny.
Some days will be thoughtful.
Some days might be educational.
And some days I'll simply share a story.
If something I write makes you smile, think, laugh, or remember something from your own life, then that's a win.
